Carmen Electra joins 'Cheaper 2' cast

LOS ANGELES, May 27 (UPI) -- Carmen Electra has joined the cast of "Cheaper by the Dozen 2," which will feature many of the actors from the original film.

Electra will play the wife of Eugene Levy, head of a famliy of eight that competes with the brood of Steve Martin and Bonnie Hunt in the sequel, the Hollywood Reporter said Friday.

In addition to Martin and Hunt, teen star Hilary Duff is slated to return in her role.

The 20th Century Fox film is being directed by Adam Shankman.

Electra, married to rocker Dave Navarro, has graced the big screen in "Starsky & Hutch" and "Scary Movie." She also stars in the upcoming "Dirty Love" with Jenny McCarthy.
