Longoria set for big-screen thriller

HOLLYWOOD, Feb. 8 (UPI) -- "Desperate Housewives" star Eva Longoria has been cast to play a budding secret agent on the big screen.

She'll work opposite Michael Douglas, Kiefer Sutherland and Kim Basinger in the thriller, "The Sentinel," TV Guide reports.

Longoria, 29, and her co-stars on the ABC smash won for the best comedy ensemble Saturday at the Screen Actors Guild Awards. They also won Golden Globe honors.
