KALAMAZOO, Mich., July 8 (UPI) -- Tony winner Chita Rivera and "E.T.'s" Dee Wallace Stone have been cast in "Kalamazoo?," which is set to begin filming in its Michigan namesake city.

The movie, which centers on three friends returning to their hometown for their 10-year high school reunion, will begin shooting on location Monday, the Kalamazoo Gazette reported Thursday.

Rivera will portray a grandmother named Giannina.

Stone, who has appeared in "Cujo" and "The Howling," will play Susan, mom to one of the three main characters.

Josie Davis of TV's "Charles in Charge" and "Beverly Hills 90210" and Mayim Bialik of the TV show "Blossom" and the film "Beaches" have been cast to play two of the three central characters.

In "Kalamazoo?" Carol, Maggie and Joan return for a reunion to find a time capsule containing their past dreams will be revealed. The women set out to destroy the contents and along the way, their deceased grandmothers exert an otherworldly influence on them.
