LOS ANGELES, June 16 (UPI) -- A woman is being held in a Los Angeles jail for allegedly threatening to kill actress Catherine Zeta-Jones, Britain's Daily Mail said Wednesday.
Dawnette Knight also claimed she had a two-year affair with the actress's 59-year-old husband, "Fatal Attraction" star Michael Douglas, The National Enquirer has reported.
The 32-year-old student is accused of stalking and threatening "to commit a crime which would result in death and great bodily injury" between Oct. 3, 2003 and May 20, 2004.
She is being held in jail in lieu of more than $1 million bail.
A spokesman for Douglas called Knight's claims "preposterous," adding, "The police have the matter under control."
Zeta-Jones's publicist was unavailable for comment.
The Welsh actress can next be seen in the Tom Hanks film "The Terminal."
