NORTH CHARLESTON, Va., Nov. 6 (UPI) -- A five-year indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract has been given to Hesco Bastion Inc. by the U.S. military for force protection barrier systems.
Hesco's barriers are an earth-filled basket system that have been used extensively in Iraq and Afghanistan to protect troops and their facilities from direct and indirect fire. They are comprised of collapsible wire mesh container and heavy duty fabric liner and are erected around and within bases.
