RESTON, Va., Sept. 15 (UPI) -- The first all-in-one cloud-based monitoring and investigative platform has been launched by Cyveillance, a provider of cyber-intelligence solutions.
Called Cyber Threat Center, the platform enables security and risk professionals to perform their own collection and analysis of online threat intelligence and identify and rapidly respond to threats.
"The Cyber Threat Center is built on our experience from more than 16 years in the cyber-security industry," said Cyveillance President Scott Kaine. "It is the natural evolution of our offerings.
"By taking advantage of the fact that we have already done the work of collecting and tagging vast amounts of data, the Cyber Threat Center enables security and risk professionals to spend more time on analysis, and less time searching and configuring multiple different portals and data feeds."
Cyveillance, a QinetiQ company, said the Cyber Threat Center combines web search, social media monitoring, global intelligence reports, and investigative tools and databases in a cloud-based portal. Personnel responsible for a company's physical and IT security can distill information from thousands of sources outside the firewall into useable intelligence, tailored for their needs.
The system features alerts and reporting, including graphical dashboards, that can be customized; a toolbox with data on domain names and IP addresses, threat actors, phishing, and malware attacks; and intelligence reports indicating cyber and physical threats and disruptions around the world.
