ARLINGTON, Va., Jan. 7 (UPI) -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security has given E3 Federal Solutions a second contract for program management, engineering, and technology support services.

The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity award from Homeland Security Department's Technical and Business Support Services is for business management, financial management, and audit services and makes E3 the only small business to be awarded two TABSS IDIQ contracts.

"(Homeland Security) was our first customer when we were established back in 2004 and has always been our No. 1 focus," said E3 Chief Executive Officer and founder Everett Johnson.

"Through the years, we observed how (Homeland Security) was moving toward the use of internal contract vehicles with the likes of EAGLE, PACTS and FirstSource, so when we saw the opportunity for a department-wide acquisition and program management contract vehicle, we went all in."

E3 said its team for the work on the newest award includes Barquin International; DLS Engineering Associates Inc.; Federal Management Systems Inc.; INTEGRITYOne Partners; George Mason University, Center for Infrastructure Protection; Glo Solutions Inc.; WBB; New River Systems; PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP; Tecolote Research Inc.; and VectorCSP.

"The fact that (Homeland Security) awarded us two major IDIQ contracts validates our experience and approach in selecting a comprehensive team that consists of small, medium, and large firms as well as a local university with the depth and breadth to cover all TABSS requirements ...," Johnson said.

"We are extremely excited to show that we can not only manage two major IDIQ contracts concurrently, but we can also deliver exceptional people, effective solutions, and extraordinary results to (Homeland Security) -- the E3 way."
