"The Falcon family of Harris radios will provide Iraqi security forces with field-proven, secure communications for a broad range of challenging missions," said Brendan O'Connell, president, International Business, Harris RF Communications.

"Harris offers the most complete portfolio of combat-proven tactical radios and related mission-critical products that address current and emerging needs of forces operating in harsh environments."

The Falcon III RF-7800S is a lightweight, body-worn tactical radio that provides full-duplex voice and data communications over about 1.2 miles. The Falcon II RF-5800M-HH is a multi-band, handheld radio that provides voice and data in the 30 MHz to 512 MHz frequency range.

Also being provided is the RF-5800H, a high-frequency manpack radio for beyond-line-of-site terrestrial communications.
