A-T chosen for IED analysis

WASHINGTON, Nov. 9 (UPI) -- A-T Solutions will help the U.S. Naval Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division analyze recovered improvised explosive devices.

The analysis will provide relevant and timely mission-essential information to military and intelligence organizations for purposes of field support in areas of weapons technical intelligence.

"We are excited to be supporting the Navy EOD Technology Division's important mission on this contract," said Dennis Kelly, president and chief executive officer of A-T Solutions. "The majority of our team comprises experts in the field of explosive ordnance, information technology, electrical engineering, logistics and intelligence who have years of hands-on field experience.

"We are confident that our team will provide the most qualified personnel to support IED exploitation."

A-T Solutions' work under this contract is worth up to $45.6 million across three years.

Under the contract, A-T Solutions will support operations at NAVEODTECHDIV, located in Indian Head, Md., and in forward deployed combined explosive exploitation cells, currently in Afghanistan and Iraq and potentially in evolving sites requiring this capability.

In August, A-T Solutions was awarded a $21.9 million contract over four years to support the Naval Explosive Ordnance Disposal Training and Evaluation Unit ONE. Under the contract, A-T Solutions is providing a team of subject-matter experts experienced in explosive ordnance disposal operations; advanced expeditionary combat shooting skills; improvised explosive device and unexploded ordnance; underwater mine countermeasures; chemical, biological and nuclear operations; exercise planning; and operations and maintenance.
