NCI receives TEIS III award

RESTON, Va., Aug. 12 (UPI) -- Information technology company NCI has been selected to provide support to the U.S. Army Information Systems Engineering Command.

The contract -- a Total Engineering and Integration Services III award -- has a ceiling value of $892 million.

TEIS III support will be required for the full lifecycle of USAISEC projects, to include planning, design, development, engineering, implementation, procurement, logistics, evaluation, test, sustainment and ancillary services.

Support will be required around the globe, including remote locations and sometimes hostile territories.

NCI was one of three companies to receive a contract.

"NCI is again honored to have been selected by USAISEC to provide premier information engineering and IT services to the Army and its other federal agency customers," said NCI President Terry Glasgow.

"USAISEC has a vital role in the Army's transformation and modernization initiatives for its customers worldwide. NCI looks forward to continuing our strong partnership with USAISEC to achieve its mission goals."

USAISEC, a subordinate command of the Army's Communications-Electronics Command Life Cycle Management Command, is at Fort Huachuca, Ariz.

The indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity program has a five-year period of performance.
