The award was made under the ITES-2S, within which nFocus Software, which has headquarters in Texas, is a subcontractor to General Dynamics Information Technology.

"We're proud that we have been selected to continue our work with the U.S. Army's Digital Training Management System," said nFocus President Ananda Roberts. "The extension of this contract enables us to further develop and refine this software in order to ensure that the needs of our Soldiers and leaders continue to be met as the operational environment further evolves."

DTMS is a customized version of nFocus Software's Student Management Server and provides the Army with the ability to plan, resource, and manage unit and individual training at all levels. Presently, it tracks the training for more than 2 million soldiers and Department of the Army civilians.

Due to this program's success and to meet the Army's growing needs the GDIT and nFocus Software team was awarded the current contract to enhance the existing capabilities of DTMS.
