CHICAGO, March 9 (UPI) -- Chicago military and commercial power solutions developer MicroSun Technologies has selected a new president and chief operation officer.
Alan ElShafei, MicroSun Technology chief executive officer, announced it appointed long-time security and defense industry veteran John Gatti to take on the company's president and COO responsibilities.
Gatti, who worked for almost 20 years at defense company Raytheon and most recently at BAE Systems' Integrated Security Solutions unit, will become the president and COO for the MicroSun Technology in the United States and Malaysia.
"John's extensive technical, operations, strategy and enterprise experience in the aerospace and defense industry (and) commercial products … will play a critical role in MicroSun Technology's aggressive growth strategy," ElShafei said in a statement.
