CACI selected to support FAST program

ARLINGTON, Va., Feb. 5 (UPI) -- CACI International has been selected to continue serving as a prime contractor supporting U.S. Navy and Marine Corps installations with its technical services.

U.S. company CACI received the follow-on contract to provide the Fleet Assistance and Shipboard Training program with comprehensive logistics, training and financial management support among other requirements for the Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk, Detachment Philadelphia.

As part of the contract, worth approximately $190 million if all options are exercised, CACI will support the mission of the FAST program to ensure the ships and aircraft for the Navy and Marine Corps remain operationally ready.

"We're very pleased that, with this award, the Navy and Marine Corps continue to demonstrate such a high level of confidence in our logistics analysis and training expertise," Bill Fairl, CACI U.S. Operations president, said in a statement.

"The CACI team is proud to be able to play such a vital role in helping these armed services accomplish their missions."
