Raytheon, Narus partner on cybersecurity

WALTHAM, Mass., April 17 (UPI) -- Raytheon Co. announced it has selected Narus as a cybersecurity partner for the protection of government networks.

Raytheon has partnered with real-time traffic-intelligence protection company Narus for its trademarked NarusInsight technologies.

Under the partnership, U.S. company Raytheon will utilize NarusInsight, an Internet protocol traffic-monitoring solution, in a move to meet the U.S. government's new strategic approach to cybersecurity and the protection of sensitive networks.

"With this partnership, Raytheon and Narus will provide the best possible solution to ensure our government's sensitive networks remain protected, while also providing capabilities to identify attackers," Steve Hawkins, Raytheon Information Security Solutions vice president, said in a statement.

"This is the most comprehensive and robust dynamic defense solution available for government networks."
