ANDOVER, Mass., June 23 (UPI) -- The U.S. Air Force awarded a task order for Dynamics Research Corp. to work on the Aging Landing Gear Life Extension 08 program.

Massachusetts-based DRC will provide engineering design, prototyping and testing, among other technical support, for the ALGLE program at the Ogden Air Logistics Center at the Air Force's Hill Air Force Base in Utah.

DRC, an engineering and technical support services defense contractor, will supply the work under a one-year, $2.2 million Air Force design and engineering support program contract.

"DRC is pleased to participate in this leading-edge program, and looks forward to supporting the Air Force Depots with the full range of our technical capabilities," Robert Smith, DRC Acquisition Management and Engineering group senior vice president and general manager, said in a statement.
