SRA to continue DTRA support work

FAIRFAX, Va., May 19 (UPI) -- The U.S. Defense Threat Reduction Agency announced it has contracted SRA International Inc. to continue providing logistics, network and software support.

The estimated two-year, $10 million U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command Rapid Response contract is for SRA International to continue supporting the DTRA research and development operations. SRA International officials say they will provide logistics, network, software engineering and Web support services under the follow-on deal.

The DTRA award with SRA International, a technology and strategic consulting services provider, marks the third re-compete contract with the company.

"SRA is privileged to continue our support of DTRA's nationally critical mission," Pat Burke, SRA International senior vice president of the national security sector, said in a statement.

"Through a partnership that focuses on innovation and excellence, SRA has been awarded this DTRA re-compete contract for the third time. DTRA recognizes our ability to deliver results and seamlessly work with the agency's team as well as multiple contractors."
