Russian military to remain in Kyrgyzstan

BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, June 13 (UPI) -- Russia will keep a military presence in Kyrgyzstan for at least the next seven years, local media reported. Russian Defense Minister Sergei Ivanov Kyrgyzstan and his Kyrgyz counterpart Esen Topoyev Thursday signed a number of documents to strengthen military and technical cooperation.
