BEIJING, Jan. 8 (UPI) -- Under Chinese law, Hong Kong resident Li Guangqiang could face the death penalty if he's convicted of smuggling bibles into the country, while Beijing on Tuesday rebuffed remarks by President Bush concerning the case.
