CUPERTINO, Calif., Aug. 22 (UPI) -- Expecting work at AT&T to get "really, really busy," is the latest hint that the next iPhone will be launched in October, CNET reported.

AT&T declined to comment on a report that quoted a company vice president as tipping his hand by telling employees to "expect things to get really, really busy in the next 35 to 50 days, so prepare your teams accordingly," CNET said.

The executive warning was first reported in Boy Genius Report, CNET said.

The iPhone launch is expected to be handled by AT&T and Verizon Wireless at the same time, which would be a first. AT&T had an exclusive on Apple's best seller for several seasons. Apple has since branched out to include other carriers.
