WASHINGTON, March 11 (UPI) -- Kid O Products LLC of Perth Amboy, N.J., is recalling 1,400 wooden puzzles for young children due to a choking hazard, federal regulators said.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission said wooden knobs on the wooden fruit puzzles can come loose, posing a choking hazard.
The puzzles made of 12-inch-by-4.5-inch boards with four fruit-shaped cut outs that children lift and replace by use of the wooden knobs.
The packaging includes printing that reads, "Grouping Objects -- Fruit."
The puzzles were imported from China and sold nationwide from November through last month for about $12.
Consumers were advised to take the puzzles from children and return them to the retailer for a full refund.
Consumers can call 212-366-5858 for information.
