Tim Walker is a London-based fashion photographer.

His interest in photography began while on work experience at Condé Nast Publications where he established the Cecil Beaton archive. He studied at Exeter Art College, a tertiary college in Oxford. He worked as a freelance photographic assistant and later worked in New York as Richard Avedon's assistant. He later was awarded 3rd place for the Independent Young Photographer of the Year, launching his career. He began working as a documentary and portrait photographer for various UK newspapers, eventually leading him to work for British Vogue, W and Harper's Bazaar. Currently Walker photographs for W , Vanity Fair as well as British and Italian Vogue . He has also photographed advertising campaigns for clients such as Yohji Yamamoto, Barneys, Gap, and Comme des Garçons.
