WASHINGTON, Feb. 24 (UPI) -- Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., came out against Arizona Senate Bill 1062 Monday that allows businesses to refuse service to the LGBT community based on religious beliefs.
He joined Sen. Jeff Flake, R-Ariz., in asking that Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer veto the bill when it comes to her desk for signature. The two senators tweeted from their respective accounts their wish for Brewer to prevent the controversial bill from becoming law in their home state.
