ATLANTA, Feb. 24 (UPI) -- Residents of the Buckhead neighborhood of Atlanta have taken to social media to protest Justin Bieber's residency after he reportedly was looking to buy a house there.

Bieber has been facing a lot of people not wanting him around lately, and the residents of Atlanta are no different. After TMZ reported he was looking into buying a house in Buckhead, members of the Buckhead Neighborhood Coalition took to Facebook to organize a resistance at the pop star's prospective home early Monday morning with the reasoning that his move would put their children in danger.

"As a community here in Buckhead, we have worked hard to achieve our goals and get to where we are. Justin Bieber's relocation to Atlanta can be nothing but bad for our children," wrote the group on Facebook, "he has raced vehicles under the influence, before. what is to say he won't do it again? One can assume many people will be contacting real estate agents soon enough."

Bieber responded to the resistance saying he supposes he is an easy target but he will continue to meet hate with love.
