LITTLE ROCK, Ark., Feb. 17 (UPI) -- Arkansas police have charged a 48-year-old man with first-degree murder, committing a terrorist act and five counts of aggravated assault after he allegedly shot at a car full of teenagers after they egged his son’s car early on Saturday morning.

During the incident, 15-year-old Adrian Broadway was shot in the head, and she later died at Children's Hospital.

The seven teens in the car drove to Willie Noble’s home to pull a prank on his son, their friend.

"It was a joke. We was friends, we was gonna come over there and clean it up,” 16-year-old Kortazha Williams told THV 11. "It was supposed to be a prank; we were supposed to get up right now, and we were supposed to laugh.”

In retaliation for a prank that Noble's 17-year-old son had pulled on Halloween, the teens covered his car in eggs and leaves. When the teens came back a second time, Noble allegedly began shooting at the car.

"I wrapped my hand around her, and I said 'Adrian you gonna be okay. You gonna be okay. You gonna make it," Williams said.

Some people have blamed the teens’ parents for allowing their kids to be out late.

"I know it was late for them to be out," said Williams' mother, Charlene Clark. "They went to the movies, they went to get some Taco Bell, and they just decided to play a joke."

Clark doesn’t feel that should get Noble off the hook.

"You aimed at a vehicle with teenagers," she said. "Everybody played a role in this, and I know him, so I really just don't know what to say behind that. I'm just so sorry for everybody's loss."
