'X-Men: Days of Future Past' teases short clip on Instagram

Twitter accounts @EmpireMagazine and @XMenMovies will uncover several "exclusive reveals" about the movie on January 27.

X-Men Days of Future Past released a 5-second sneak peak of the film via Instagram on Friday.

The clip features several never-before-seen scenes from the movie featuring Jennifer Lawrence, Hugh Jackman, Evan Peters, James McAvoy and Ian McKellen.

The post was meant to advertise several "exclusive reveals" that will be uncovered by the film's social media accounts on January 27.

"A full day of #XMen surprises is just around the corner," read the caption. "Follow along on Twitter at @EmpireMagazine and @XMenMovies to see exclusive reveals on January 27th. #Empire25Follow"

Days of Future Past hits theaters on May 23.
