After losing to the Baltimore Ravens in the Super Bowl last season, the San Francisco 49ers traded a sixth-round draft pick to acquire wide receiver Anquan Boldin.

It’s safe to say that they got their money’s worth following the team’s 23-10 road win over the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.

Boldin was exceptional in the victory and had eight catches for 136 yards. Performing in the postseason is nothing new for the veteran as he has amassed 33 catches for 554 yards and four touchdowns in his last six playoff games.

In addition to having fun on the field, Boldin is having some laughs off the field as well.

During quarterback Colin Kaepernick's postgame press conference, Boldin asked: "Why didn't you throw to Anquan Boldin earlier?"

Kaepernick returned the favor during Boldin’s press conference and actually grabbed a reporter’s notebook to take notes.

The 49ers will travel north to take on the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday for the right to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl.
