Rumors are swirling at the International Consumer Electronics Show 2014 in Las Vegas that Apple could be planning an "iPad Pro," maybe as large as 12 inches.

Patrick Wang of Evercore Partners, said in a report that Apple would go "enterprise" this fall, meaning that they would launch a product to target corporate clients.

He believes that they would emulate Microsoft's Surface and build a two-in-one product, coupling a tablet and a laptop to reach "productivity" users. This would signal a change of heart at Apple, as they've spent the last few years dismissing the Surface.

Also the the arrival of the new quad-core A8 processor form Apple would be a big blow to Intel, which at present accounts for 22 percent of the cost of the Macbook Air, whereas the Apple's own processors only account for only 4 percent of the iPad Air's cost. This would be a big challenge for Intel in the coming year.
