Nov. 8 (UPI) -- Two and a half years after her music video for "Friday" shot her into Internet stardom, Rebecca Black released a followup, the aptly-named "Saturday."

While her first offering may have had some critics dubbing it the worst song ever, "Saturday" features a more confident Black, who is now 16.

She may not have strayed far from her simplistic lyrics and have-fun attitude, though.

"Saturday" includes a few nods to her first single, including the lyrics, "Yesterday was Friday, today is Saturday," a cereal bowl in the video marked with the words "Gotta have my bowl."

The video for "Saturday" features several pop culture references, including a Miley Cyrus look-alike twerking in the singer's "Wrecking Ball" getup of a white wife beater and white underwear. There's also a Tom Cruise in "Risky Business" reference and one teen doing the Dougie.
