Nicole Scherzinger 'just friends' with Lewis Hamilton

Nov. 14 (UPI) -- Nicole Scherzinger poured cold water over rumors she and ex Lewis Hamilton were rekindling their relationship.

"We're just friends," she said of the Formula 1 car driver she has been dating on and off since 2008. "Just friends."

Rumors that the pair was considering giving it another go were sparked in August when they met up at Scherzinger's Beverly Hills mansion, but she said their rendezvous was less than it seemed.

And of a meeting recently at a London hotel, Scherzinger said they "just, um, met up to speak that night. That's all."

But the X Factor judge didn't rule out a future reconciliation.

"Whatever the future holds, I don't rule anything out," Scherzinger said. "I also don't have any regrets."
