(UPI) -- The hosts of the Today show went all out to celebrate Halloween, dressing up as a succession of classic television characters that culminated in a truly unforgettable Baywatch imitation from Matt Lauer.

Lauer donned Pamela Anderson's famous C.J. Parker red swimsuit, including a nude body suit, a blonde wig, and -- yes -- a truly impressive pair of fake breasts.

He was joined by Willie Geist dressed as David Hasselhoff's Mitch and actual Baywatch cast member Carmen Electra made an appearance in her old red togs.

But there was no doubt Lauer, mimicking the show's opening credits run with a dramatic, slo-mo jog through the sand box, was most memorable.

Al Roker joined in the run as Mr. T, while Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb dressed as Wilma Flintstone and Betty Rubble. Carson Daly rode in on a motorcycle as Jon from CHiPs, joined by the show's former star Erik Estrada, and Savannah Guthrie and Natalie Morales went as Laverne and Shirley.

All in all, a fun Halloween show for the Today crew.
