(UPI) -- It looks like Tina Fey couldn't stay away from NBC. The peacock network has ordered 13 episodes of a new comedy written and produced by Fey and her 30 Rock partner Robert Carlock.
The Office's Ellie Kemper will play a woman who “escapes from a doomsday cult and starts life over in New York City.”
"Tina and Robert, who cemented their partnership on 30 Rock, have created a new signature comedy for us that is audacious, emotional, and clever,” NBC Entertainment Chair Robert Greenblatt said in a statement. “While tapping into very relatable themes, there isn’t anything like this anywhere else on television. NBC has been their home for many years and we’re so happy that they’ve found another way to push the comedy envelope for us.”
The single-camera comedy, titled Tooken, will debut in fall of 2014.
