(UPI) -- Injuries and bye weeks are likely sending fantasy owners to the waiver wire in search of replacements for Week 9. Here are a few of the top options:

WR - Marvin Jones, Bengals: Although it’s highly unlikely that he will ever duplicate his four-touchdown performance from Sunday, Jones has established himself as a top option for quarterback Andy Dalton and has been targeted 19 times in his last three games. Jones has scored in three straight weeks and will look to keep rolling when the Bengals take on the Miami Dolphins after a short week on Thursday Night Football.

TE - Coby Fleener, Colts: It’s been speculated that receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey will gain the most fantasy value following Reggie Wayne’s season-ending injury, but Fleener could end up being the main beneficiary. During the game where Wayne was injured, Fleener caught all five of his targets for 38 yards and a touchdown, equaling his season high in receptions in the process. Andrew Luck is familiar with Fleener from their days at Stanford and he could end up throwing in the direction of his college buddy with more frequency in the coming weeks.

QB - Case Keenum, Texans: When undrafted rookie Keenum made his first career start against Kansas City in Week 7, it looked like a recipe for disaster. The Texans did end up losing the game, but Keenum handled himself rather well and completed 15 of his 25 passes for 271 yards and a touchdown. The Texans have receivers who can catch the ball in Andre Johnson and DeAndre Hopkins and Keenum -- the all-time NCAA leader in completions, passing yards and touchdowns -- should be capable of making good throws.

RB - Montee Ball, Broncos: Although starting back Knowshon Moreno has been rock-solid thus far, Ball is beginning to eat into his touches and there’s no reason to think that trend will stop. Ball has 11 carries for 37 yards in Week 8 and scored for the first time since Week 1. When the Broncos emerge from their bye week, he could be in line for even more touches. According to the Denver Post, the coaching staff planned on more rest for Moreno going forward, and that was prior to Ball’s successful performance in Week 8. “His story, though, is getting a little too good,” the Post wrote of Moreno. “The Broncos want to spell him more. Less now -- more later. And so Montee Ball and C.J. Anderson will get a chance to prove they can ably spell Moreno today against the Washington Redskins.” Ball showed he can handle the added responsibility, making him a worthwhile add in most leagues.
