Watch the 'Anchorman 2' trailers: Ron Burgundy is back

(UPI) -- Ron Burgundy and his ragtag team of hot shot San Diego newsmen are back for the widely anticipated Anchorman sequel, Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, which hits theaters December 20.

This time, Will Ferrell's Burgundy, Steve Carell’s Brick Tamland, Paul Rudd’s Brian Fantana and David Koechner’s Champ Kind are forced to leave the 1970s behind for a more diverse, more complicated world of 1980s New York City. Ron and his team move to the Big Apple to work for a 24-hour news network called GNN to tackle the issues of the day.

Sample line: "I understand we have some crack -- and we're going to smoke it right here in the studio."

An impressive crop of A-list celebs have also joined the cast for small parts or cameos, including Kristen Wiig, Harrison Ford, Jim Carrey, Liam Neeson, Nicole Kidman, Sacha Baron Cohen, Tiny Fey, Amy Poehler, Drake and Kanye West.
