Lion caught roaming the streets of Kuwait photographed in the back of a police car

Instead of running away from the young lion he saw roaming the streets of Kuwait City's Banyan neighborhood, a seemingly fearless man lured the big cat into his car and called police.

Authorities who arrived at the scene then transferred the lion into a police vehicle, as seen in the photo above.

The lion, thought to have been illegally owned by a man raising it as pet, was subsequently taken to the Public Authority for Agricultural Affairs and Fish Resources.
