Tommy Morrison's immediate cause of death reportedly cardiac arrest

Tommy Morrison, the 44-year-old boxer that tested positive for HIV in 1996, died of cardiac arrest on Sunday.

An autopsy was not performed on Morrison, but the cause of death was listed as cardiac arrest following multiple organ failure, septic shock, and pseudomonas aeruginosa septicemia.

Neither AIDS nor HIV are mentioned anywhere on the certificate, but one of the possible predisposing conditions for pseudomonas aeruginosa septicemia is immunodeficiency relating to AIDS.

Morrison's body has already been cremated, according to the death certificate.
