Kelly Ripa, who hosts ABC's "LIVE with Michael and Kelly" with retired football player Michael Strahan, got back to work on Tuesday rocking a brand new haircut.
The bubbly, 42-year-old television personality tweeted about the new 'do just before taping.
"Back in the saddle........with a new cut!" she warned Twitter followers, before discussing the transformation with her co-host.
The sleek bob, Kelly wrote later, was inspired by 59-year-old actress Ellen Barkin.

Though Ripa's new look garnered positive reactions from the Twittersphere, she's not getting much support from mom.
"She goes, 'I don't need to see it to know I don't like it. You know I'm a long-hair girl,'" Ripa quoted her mother as saying.
