Tim Tebow threw two touchdowns Thursday night against the Giants in the Patriots' preseason finale.

Despite having his best statistical performance for the Patriots so far, Tebow is still not guaranteed to get a spot on the team. He is likely to get cut before Saturday's deadline.

Tebow himself said he was "not sure" if he has done enough to earn his spot with the Pats.

"I'm not sure," Tebow said. "I don't make those decisions."

Given how little impact Tebow will have on the 2013 NFL season, he has been analyzed microscopically in his preseason play. Coach Bill Belichick is not talking about Tebow or his chances of making the roster, and Tebow has no idea whether he will make the team.

Moving the tight end to the active roster means that someone will be booted off the team. Considering the Patriots have historically not held on to three quarterbacks, things don't look good for Tebow.

Tebow has been though worse things, though. He is preparing to improve and play nonetheless.

"I'm just taking it one day at a time and be able to enjoy playing this game tonight and come in here ready to work out tomorrow," Tebow said. “I’m just blessed to be able to play football."

There is a chance Tebow could make the team, as he played the entire second half of the preseason finale and finished 6-of-11 for 91 yards, and adding 30 rushing yards. He passed for two touchdowns.

Patriots owner Robert Kraft is rooting for Tebow's success.

“I’m rooting for (Tebow) big time. I’m in his corner.” Kraft said. “But I have the privilege of letting Bill make those decisions. He has a pretty good record doing it.”
