Joey Fatone arrives to New York with 'a secret,' denies 'NSync reunion

Joey Fatone is the second member of 'NSync to deny rumors the band is reuniting during Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards.

Fatone was captured by TMZ cameras arriving in New York on Friday. When asked if he was in town for the much anticipated 'NSync reunion, the former singer said he wasn't planning to attend the VMA's.

Fatone explained he was in town for his cousin's 40th birthday party and that he had no reason to attend the MTV awards show. He then said "maybe for Justin [Timberlake]," after he recalled his former bandmate will be receiving the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.

"As far as I know, I haven't gotten a phone call or anything," Fatone said of Timberlake. "Just like his wedding. I didn't get the phone call for the invite."

On Tuesday Lance Bass, also denied rumors of a possible 'NSync reunion during his SiriusXM satellite radio show "Dirty Pop with Lance Bass."
