Tottenham sells Gareth Bale to Real Madrid for record 93 million pounds

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly agreed to sell Gareth Bale to Real Madrid for a record 93 million pounds -- about $145 million -- making the Welshman the world's most expensive player.

As part of the deal in bringing the Wales international to Spain, Real left-back Fabio Coentrao will reportedly move to the Spurs.

Roberto Soldado, Etienne Capoue, Nacer Chadli and Paulinho have already joined Tottenham during the summer transfer window.

Attacking midfielder Willian is also reportedly close to a deal with the Spurs, and may soon leave Brazil for north London. Liverpool was reportedly hoping to sign the Brazil international, but "missed out." Tottenham offered 35 million euros to Anzhi for the transfer, and Willian is expected to make a decision Tuesday night.
