Adam Carolla is being sued by former friend Donny Misraje over photos included in Carolla's 2012 memoir "Not Taco Bell Material."

MSN reports Misraje, who in a previous lawsuit was described as Carolla's "very close friend," claims he owns the copyright to the photos published in the memoir and that they were published without his "permission, consent or license to do so."

"Plaintiff believes that he has suffered or is likely to suffer damages and will continue to suffer serious and substantial damages resulting from Defendants' copyright infringement, including irreparable injury for which there is no adequate remedy at law," reads the lawsuit which was filed on May 30 in the U.S. Distroc Court in Central California.

Crown Publishing, the company that published the book, was also named in the lawsuit.

Misraje is looking to get compensation for the alleged infringements as well as compensatory and punitive damages. In addition, he's asking that all remaining copies of "Not Taco Bell Material" be destroyed.

In January, Misraje sued Carolla claiming he had encouraged him to turn his radio show into a podcast, but never received compensation for his involvement when the podcast became a success.
