Cat got your tongue?
Inmates at a Russian prison camp can relate -- they won't be able to talk to the outside now that their contraband-smuggling cat has been caught.
The criminals' kitty was caught climbing a fence with a pair of cell phones, batteries and chargers strapped to his back on Friday, according to the New York Daily News.
The cat was en route to Penal Colony No. 1 with two packages taped to its back, the penitentiary service wrote in a statement.
Prisoners have come up with sneaky ways to get banned items past prison walls, but never by a courier cat.
"Nothing like this has happened in the prison's history," the statement said.
Russian media posted photos of the cat being held up by the scruff of its neck. They have started to refer to the cat as the "kot kontrabandist."
