Olympic gold medalist Alexandra Raisman danced her way to the top of "Dancing With The Stars" on Monday.

With a score of 27 points, Raisman and her partner Mark Ballas jumped to the front of the competition leaping over early favorites Kellie Pickler and Zendaya Coleman, Fox News reported.

For last night's episode, the 10 remaining contestants were instructed to perform routines that reflected the best year of their lives. Raisman picked 2012, the year the U.S. women’s gymnastics team won the gold medal at the Olympic Games in London.

The gymnast and her partner delivered a contemporary dance to David Guetta’s "Titanium" in which Raisman, putting her Olympic skills to good use, incorporated cartwheels and back-flips to the routine.

The judges liked what they saw.

"Forget about 'Titanium,' you’re going for gold my darling, I love the balance of the spectacular and the details," Bruno Tonioli said of the performance.

“I was mesmerized by you,” added judge Carrie Ann Inaba. “It was just profound.”
