The actor, whose name has not been released, is accused of repeatedly assaulting a then-14-year-old fellow theater student between July and September 2010.

The Independent reports that the actor, then 15, insisted he had to “be with a boy” and so he forced the fellow student to perform oral sex on him at the Wimbledon Theatre in 2010. The actor, who was 15 years old at the time of the alleged incident, later raped the victim in front of his girlfriend in the theater's fire escape.

Prosecutor Timothy Forster said the abuse started with a series of explicit text messages after the actor revealed his sexuality to the victim in the course of working on a show.

A second assault was alleged to have taken place at the theater school. Following a confrontation in the dressing rooms, teachers investigated and then passed the case to police.

"He pulled down my trousers. He started touching me and said he wanted to see. So I pushed him away," the alleged victim testified. He said he was then headbutted and pushed against a wall during one of the assaults, reports Your Local Guardian.

"I was upset and I wasn't sure what was going on or anything. I was scared to say what had happened. I was just embarrassed."

The alleged victim began his testimony Monday but the hearing was halted when he collapsed in the witness box and had to be given medical assistance.

The defendant denies one count of oral rape in July 2010 and three counts of sexual assault between July and September 2010. Mr Forster said the defendant will argue that the sexual contact was consensual.
