According to reports coming out of South Korea, Dennis Rodman's new friend, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, secretly fathered a baby girl with his wife, Ri Sol Ju, late last year, The Telegraph reported Tuesday.
Though there's no word on the child's sex, Michael Madden of North Korea Leadership Watch told the Washington Free Beacon that "sources close to the ruling Kim family" said the couple had given birth.
Madden speculated that the child was a girl.
“If it was a boy, [the North Koreans] would have made an announcement,” Madden said.
"North Korean authorities may have either induced Ri to go into labor at the end of last year or have her child through cesarean section in order to bear a child in 2012, which marks 100 years since founder Kim Il-sung's birth," a South Korean official told Chosun Ilbo, a South Korean newspaper, last month.
Official photographs of Ri, which appeared to show her with a bun in the oven, prompted pregnancy rumors last year.
