Morrissey has cancelled his scheduled appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" Tuesday over the show's other guest stars.

The singer's rep told CNN in a statement that Morrissey decided to cancel his performance because he can't "morally be on a television program where the cast members of 'Duck Dynasty' will also be guests."

"Duck Dynasty" is an 'A&E' reality show that follows the Robertsons, a Louisiana family who became wealthy from their family-operated business performing "duck calls."

"As far as my reputation is concerned, I can't take the risk of being on a show alongside people who, in effect, amount to animal serial killers," Morrissey said in the statement. "If Jimmy cannot dump 'Duck Dynasty' then we must step away."

The singer's rep told CNN, Morrissey would be "honored to play on the show," as long as the "Duck Dynasty" cast is removed from the lineup. As of now, they reality TV family is still scheduled to appear on tonight's show.
