President Barack Obama is expected to push for an overhaul of the nation's immigration policy in an address Tuesday in Las Vegas, one day after a bipartisan group of eight senators proposed their own framework for immigration reform.

The White House said that the president's remarks, scheduled for 2:30 p.m. ET, would center "on the need to fix the broken immigration system so that it is fairer for and helps grow the middle class by ensuring everyone plays by the same rules."
