In trying to tap into the app generation, Mitt Romney's team has gotten a taste of the viral world with a meme-worthy gaffe.
The Romney campaign released an iPhone app, allowing users to take photos with one of several Mitt-themed watermarks: "American greatness," "Believe in America," "Day one, job one," "Obama isn't working," and so on.

But the first option--and the one that has the Internet atwitter, says "A better Amercia," with, yes, the country's name spelled wrong.
Never one to waste a good opportunity for a meme, the Internet responded with gusto.
As of 11:00 a.m. Eastern time, the app was still available, and still said "A better Amercia."
UPDATE: As of 2:40 p.m., the slide reading "A better Amercia" has been removed in an update available for the "With Mitt" app.
