June 11 (UPI) -- An Indiana soap store created a new world record by creating and detonating a 198.64-pound bath bomb believed to be the world's largest.

Mama Pearson's Soaporium in Gas City created the big bath bomb from baking soda, citric acid, shea butter, olive oil, polysorbate 80 and distilled water with a lemongrass fragrance.

Owner Amie Pearson said Guinness World Records told her there was no current record for the world's largest bath bomb and set the goal for the record's creation at 45 pounds, a goal her store more than quadrupled with their 198.64-pound creation.

"I feel awesome," Pearson told WANE-TV. "I feel so happy. I'm over the moon happy."

The record attempt culminated in the bath bomb being thrown into a pool, where it fizzled for several minutes.

Pearson said videos and documents from the attempt have been submitted to Guinness for official certification, which she was told would take about 15 weeks.
