Jesse Plemons to co-star in HBO Max's 'Love and Death'

May 24 (UPI) -- Breaking Bad, Fargo and Black Mirror actor Jesse Plemons has signed on to co-star with WandaVision actress Elizabeth Olsen in the HBO Max limited series, Love and Death.

David E. Kelley -- whose credits include Big Little Lies and The Practice -- is writing and producing the show.

Lesli Linka Glatter is onboard to direct.

"Two church going couples, enjoying small town family life in Texas, until somebody picks up an axe," is how the streaming service describes the project, which is based on the book, Evidence of Love: A True Story of Passion and Death in the Suburbs and a collection of articles from Texas Monthly.
