Nov. 9 (UPI) -- Emma Stone told Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show she named herself after singer Emma 'Baby Spice' Bunton of the Spice Girls.

"Growing up I was super blonde and my real name is Emily but I wanted to be called Emma because of Baby Spice and guess what, now I am," Stole said to host Jimmy Fallon on Thursday.

Stone explained how, as a child, she went up to her second grade teacher and asked to be called Emma instead of Emily.

Stone was also enthusiastic about seeing the Spice Girls in concert again, after the pop group announced a 2019 reunion tour.

"I will be going to that, somehow," Stone said about the tour. "I don't think tickets are on sale yet, but I'm gonna figure it out."

Stone then took a Buzzfeed test with Fallon to help determine which member of the Spice Girls she was most like. Stone, to her surprise, was named Victoria 'Posh Spice' Beckham.

Stone also told Fallon about meeting Leonardo DiCaprio at the Oscars and how she was the only American on the set of her new film, The Favourite, set to arrive in theaters on Nov. 23.

Stone had to use a British accent on the film while being surrounded by British actors.

"I think it may be easier because when everyone around you can be like, 'That sounded crazy,' then you can fix it," she said of her co-stars who helped her improve the accent.
